Islam is a religion that is full of grace and none of its teachings deviate. One of his teachings, namely following the sunnah of the Prophet Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam. One of the Prophet's traditions that is often underestimated is urinating standing up. Even though peeing while standing is prohibited by the Prophet Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam
Sometimes, for various reasons of wanting to hurry, a person ends up urinating (peeing) while standing up. Whether he realized it or not, and with confidence as if he was already holy, it turned out that when he prayed, there was still some remaining urine coming out. As a result, the prayers he performs are invalid because there are still unclean water remnants that stick to his pants during prayer.
Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said, which means: "Indeed, a lot of torture in the grave is due to urine, so clean yourself from the (splash and marks) of pee". (Narrated by Al-Bazzaar and Ath-Thahawi)
In another hadith narrated from Ibn Abbas, he said: Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam had passed two graves. Then the Prophet Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam said, "Verily, two corpses in this grave are being tortured, but not because of a grave sin. One was tortured because he used to play one another against each other, while the other was tortured because he did not clean himself from his urine. Then the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam asked for the palm leaf midrib and cut it in half. After that the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasallam stuck one of them in a grave and the other in another grave while saying,' Hopefully that frond can lighten his torment, as long as it is not dry. ' (H.R. Muslim).
That is the reason why Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam prohibits a Muslim from urinating while standing.
For Muslims who pray, sometimes after leaving the toilet and want to pray, when bowing in prayer we feel something is coming out of their genitals. That is the rest of the urine that was not wasted all while standing up while urinating.
This causes prayer to be invalid because one of the conditions for validity of prayer is that it is clean and pure from impurity, both from small and large hadats (najis), and urine is unclean.
So the Prophet sallallaahu 'Alaihi Wasalam often reminded in his words, "Be careful in urinating problems because most of the torture of the grave is due to not being careful in urinating."
Scientific Facts
From the Islamic side, most people who usually urinate stand up and they offer prayers, when going to bowing or prostration, they feel something coming out of their genitals. Predictably, that is the urine that remains and does not all come out perfectly. If this happens, the prayers you do will certainly become invalid.
Do we know, people who used to urinate while standing will experience mental weakness easily, because the remaining water in the coffers that does not run out makes the glands of the muscles and smooth veins around the genitals become flaccid and loose.
In contrast to defecating while squatting. In that state, the femur on the left and right relaxes the pubic crush. This makes it easier for urine to flow easily until it runs out and pressing while clearing a little. In this way, urine will come out until it runs out, even in this way pubic health will be maintained.
When urinating standing up there is a feeling of dissatisfaction, because there is still urine left over. This most likely often makes the underwear smell of urine from the urine that was left earlier.
The fact is that the rock in the kidney or the bag of art is caused by the remnants of urine that don't run out. Sediment after sediment eventually crystallized or hardened like a rock.
So, do we still not want to know that behind all the commands and prohibitions of Allah and His Prophet, there must be scientific wisdom that is so many and beneficial to mankind.
So, when you urinate in a perfectly squat position, the bladder will be compressed and trigger all urine to be excreted from the body without a remainder. An empty bladder can also help reduce the risk of prostate cancer.
To empty the bladder, when urinating, try to cough a little (cleared his throat) so that the bladder is more depressed and all of the urine can come out.
Others, usually when urinating in a squatting position are often accompanied by passing gas, so that a person has thrown away the body's metabolism in the form of water and gas. This condition is very rare when we urinate in a standing position.
As good Muslims and realizing how short life is, let us be determined to change the bad habit of standing pee into squatting.
