Rasulullah SAW memberikan contoh sifat yang membuat hati lembut.
Rasulullah SAW memberikan contoh sifat yang membuat hati lembut.

"Surely there has come to you an Rasul from among yourselves. He feels heavy with your suffering and he really wants (safety and security) for you and is very compassionate again for the believers. " (QS. At-Taubah: 128).

In the midst of violent behavior that afflicts society, efforts to force one's will, fading social care, domestic violence, and indulging in grudges are obeyed, gentleness should be an option.

Including in addressing various life problems. Reflecting on the example of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, he should be able to imitate him in his attitude and actions. There are at least three exemplary behaviors of the Apostle that show meekness.

The three attitudes, namely being willing to forgive, being humble (tawadhu), and giving unconditionally. These three attitudes are rooted in the breadth of his affection for his people.

"Then it is due to the mercy of Allah that you (Muhammad) are gentle towards them. If you are being tough again being rude, of course they will distance themselves from around you. Therefore, forgive them, ask forgiveness for them and consult with them in this matter.... " (QS. Ali Imran: 159).

Rasulullah often forgives not because he is forced or because he is unable to reply. But because he has perfect love and sincerity. This attitude he exemplified was not due to coercion but solely to get the pleasure of Allah.

According to Imam Al-Ghazali, essential forgiveness is when someone has the right to retaliate against someone but that right is eliminated or aborted by themselves. Even though the person is in power, he also takes away his rights.

Attitude tawadhu, does not mean degrading. This actually adds to the moral height. The Apostle advised, "Being humble does not add to someone but height. Therefore, be humble, Allah will definitely exalt you. "

The next attitude is to give something we have unconditionally.

"And don't give with the intention of getting more in return." (QS. Al-Muddassir: 6).

One form of giving in the form of assets that we have is almsgiving. Charity does not affect a person's property but will increase its number.

"Therefore, give charity, surely Allah will give His love to all of you." (Reported by Ad-Dailami and Ashfihani).
